Holiday Intensive Programs
Did you know that there are 32 steps to eating? People think we just sit and eat, but there is so much more to it. For children having difficulty each step can be challenging.
We are running an intensive program in the July school holidays.
1 hour Parent information session 9am-10am
Therapy Sessions – Monday to Wednesday
A final follow up session will be booked two weeks after the intensive.
The SOS approach to feeding is a program for assessing and treating children with feeding difficulties and weight/growth problems. The program looks at multiple factors which can influence our approach to food. It is based on the ‘normal’ developmental steps, stages and skills of feeding found in typically developing children

Brick by Brick – Lego Social Group
Sometimes the social world can be a tricky place to navigate. If your child is in grades prep – two, Brick by Brick aims to equip them with the tools to build lasting friendships
Using Lego in a structured and guided environment is a great way to learn how to collaborate and use the same toy in different ways. Adapting to other people’s preferences and accepting new ideas are the cornerstones of working together harmoniously. Our learning doesn’t stop with Lego – Brick by Brick incorporates a variety of fun games and activities so that we can practice applying our flexible thinking in lots of situations
This six-hour intensive program runs in the second week of the July Holidays: Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th July.
Cost $420 (6 hours of intervention)
Putting FUN into the FUNdamentals!
Children adore learning when other children are around. It keeps education fun, provides for plenty of happy time and is the basis of new friendships.
The Peninsula Speech Pathology Services Sounds to Sentences Program recognises that reading and spelling are two of life’s fundamentals. Working in an energetic and fun environment, our speech pathologists will coax even the shyest of children out of their shells and have them participating with other kids in friendly group sessions.
Together they will –
– Explore the links between letters and sounds,
– Undertake basic reading, writing and spelling tasks,
– Learn to overcome their communication fears,
– Develop the confidence to have a go.
The program is for children who are struggling with reading and spelling and is loaded with the phonological awareness required to develop early skills. Conveniently held during the school holidays, this 6 hour intensive program is a must if your child needs extra assistance in these areas.
When: 9:30am – 11:30am Wed 11th, Thurs 12th and Friday 13th of April.
Where: 16/1140 Nepean Hwy, Mornington.
