I along with Narelle am the first “port of call” either on reception at the Mornington Clinic or answering phone calls for all of our 3 clinics.I take bookings, payments & and answer queries, as well as attending to administrative tasks away from the front desk.

I joined Pen Speech in July 2008 – initially I was employed for two mornings a week with a total of 8 hours a week.  This has grown over the years with the expansion of Pen Speech and I now work three days a week!

I worked for ANZ Bank in a number of roles for a total of 16 years.  Whilst working at the bank I trained in bookkeeping at night school and for the past 18 years have combined bookkeeping with reception.  The mix of the two roles is a great combination!

The main “problem” that we deal with every day at reception is allocating the clients to the most appropriate clinician and working out the logistics of the girl’s timetables.

The most enjoyable part of my job  is the interaction in the waiting room and front desk with the children and of course their parents.  I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the progress and growth of many of our little clients and always enjoy my chats with the mums!!

On my days off I can think of nothing more enjoyable than spending time with my family and friends.  I love playing golf, eating out, travelling, going to music concerts and of course we can’t leave out that I do enjoy a sneaky footy match as long as the Geelong Cats are playing!!!
